Cancellation policy

For new venue and vacation-rental bookings, every guest cancellation has a 3% fee, including the first. Optional cancellation protection costs an extra 3% of the booking and add-ons: cancel before the event or check-in to get that booking amount back, while the protection charge is retained. Before host acceptance, only the cancellation fee or protection charge is collected from an active card hold and the remainder is released. Protection is a fee waiver, not insurance, and must be chosen at checkout. Cancellations still count in a rolling 30-day period; a third cancellation requires a warning confirmation and blocks new venue/rental bookings for 12 months. Host cancellations and admin-approved exceptions do not count. Earlier bookings keep their original cancellation terms. Contact Support after the event or check-in starts.
